Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is open and is absolutely huge. WE walked and rode people movers for over 40 minutes to get from the airplane to immigration. It is a beautiful airport. It wasn't until I actually got to this airport that i started to realize the enormity of what I was doing. Actually it was more like react to the enormity of it- complete with contemplations of the finiteness of life and at once the pointlessness of it all that allows us to give it individual meaning - if we get off our asses and put the ipods down for a bit.
